I just wanted to write a give a quick update on my fundraising. This is something that is been heavy on my heart, and a huge stress (just being honest) this last week. I have until October 1st to be at the $11,000 mark or I would be sent home. I have to be honest when I saw my fundraising status at the beginning of last week and saw I had over $2,500 to go in less than 2 weeks I was totally freaking out. Checking my account daily, seeing no change. Praying that God would give me peace, but still allowing things to stress me out.
It was then that God placed on my heart to not just ask for prayer and financial help, but to show everyone what I'm doing. To let them see the faces of people I'm touching. To see the buildings we are working on to build God's Kingdom further. I made a video and told myself I would spend the week after posting it in prayer. Trusting God. Leaving the stress at the door, and committing to God and His plan for my life. Needless to say from that day forward God has completely taken over. In a little over a week I am now at $9,630 with for sure another $515 that should be showing up soon.
That brings me to $10,145 – $855 left to raise by the 1st. Can I just say THANK YOU GOD! And thank all of YOU who have lifted me in prayers, supported me financially, and sent me words of encouragement. It is so amazing! I am blessed by each and everyone of you!
It is amazing what God can do when you let Him. He continues to bless me, grow me, and show me the truth of who He really is.
