While reading my daily devotional last week, one of the questions posed stuck with me. One day we will meet God face to face and he will ask, “What did you do with what I gave you?”
What will I do with what he gave me?
The Bible says in 1 Peter 4:10, “God has given each of you special abilities; be sure to use them to help each other.”
God has gifted us all with unique abilities, passions and experiences. These are the things in my life that have helped shape me into the very person I am. I want to use what I have been given, if I don’t, haven’t I just missed the point?
God gives us all these things to be used not wasted. In my case, going on the World Race is God giving me the opportunity to use my gifts for His glory. One of the things I love the most is helping others in any way I can. During my nine months I will have endless opportunities to love and serve others in the ministry we are able do.
It will be challenging, overwhelming, exciting, life-changing and terrifying at times, but I don’t want to miss the point.
P.S. I am making huge progress on meeting my financial goals, please continue to spread the word and pray for me, launch day is coming soon.
