So I really cannot believe that I’ve already been on the Race for a month. It has gone soooooo quickly! Right now my whole USquad is in Siem Reap, Cambodia regrouping and relaxing for 2 days – a much needed reunion! I love hearing the stories of what all the other teams experienced and learned during the last month as well as sharing our own.
Here are a few visual aids to enhance your Thai experience from afar:
Teaching English at the university
We had the students construct sentences to work on subject/verb agreement. This was Kasey’s…
The Seeds enjoying smoothie time at dinner
The mural we painted at the YWAM center with their slogan, “To know God and make Him known”
Typical market shots
Fish heads for dinner = normal. And yes, we eat the eyes!
Oh FYI, I hung out with an elephant on the street one day. It was pretty spectacular 🙂
Cleaning out an abandoned building that will be turned into a center for teaching English, Bible and Home Economics to local women in Kalasin (our friends Peter & Lynley’s ministry)
Trying to find our way around Khan Kaen
All 6 of us riding in a tuk tuk. Yeah, these usually fit 3 people, 4 max. This day it fit all of us and our daypacks! FUN!
The beautiful lake that was a 10 minute walk from our home in Kalasin
And here is a short video created by our Birdie that gives a little summary of our month in Thailand! Hope you all enjoy 🙂
