Not the serious where you cant laugh and have fun, but the seriousness in that people are truly changing lives.
I have listened to the stories of racers meeting orphans, women stuck in sex trafficking, thieves and many other people the world considers "outcasts."
The racers are pouring Jesus' love and light into these people.
I have heard stories of the crippled standing to walk.
Of the broken taking the time to heal.
I have heard the stories of racers getting sick,. fevers, chills, and rare diseases not known to us on this side of the world.
I've heard the stories. I've laughed and cried while reading many of them. They are stories that make my blood pump harder and my skin tingle knowing that in 3 short months….
That will be me.
What's starting to hit me is that these "stories" arent stories at all.
They are the truth. The truth of what is happening in the world. The truth that the entire point of the World Race is to share the love and truth with the world that was once shared with us.
That the point of our entire existence is to love like Jesus.
They may seem like stories to me now.
but in 3 months….
They won't be.
Please take a few minutes to pray for the health, safety, desire and hearts of the racers currently on the field as well as all of us preparing to leave.
We need you more than you know.
