Hmmmmm…what is it? How do you define success?

Would success be:

                – how many people come to know Jesus as their personal Savior and friend?
                – how many houses I build?
                – how much I paint?
                – how many families I meet and talk to?
                – how many people agree to going to church?
                – how much money I make?
                – how much clothing, electronics, music, movies, and stuff I have?
                – how much change I see?
                – how many orphans I help?
                – getting a new high score in a game?
                – receiving MVP award?
                – donating the most material things?
                – how many people I disciple?
                – raising Godly children?
                – how many facebook friends I have?
                – how many people read this blog?

I could honestly go on forever, partly because it is raining right now…haha. But my point is, what is success? Make your own questions: how many people are in your church? How many numbers you can get? How many A’s? How high you get in “leadership?”

´´Climbing the ladder of success´´…makes me laugh.

5 questions: How, which, when, where, why. And I only used the one that is ‘how’ on the list above…followed by the words ‘much’ or ‘many.’ So is success based on quanity? quality? Do I then start looking at people as “projects” or “numbers?” Will I ever be satisfied?

If you were looking for an answer…I don’t have one.
