Wow…I’m on the bust back from passion 2011 and it was an
amazing young adult Christian conference. There was worship, speakers, service,
singing, community groups, family groups, sessions, praying, opportunities to
give, meals, oh and some sleep. Passion
was a collection of college students all over America …22,000 to be exact. Also
an amazing thing to be encouraged by: our generation is not is not a ‘lost
cause’ even though there maybe some things that aren’t the best, it was so
amazing to see so many people worship God! Also, 22 thousand broke (no money)
college students raised $1,175,000 dollars for different ministries around the
world!!! That is amazinggg!!

So I am going to try and keep this short, but it was so
amazing!! It was such a great send off for the World Race which s happening a
day after I get back from passion! Oh, wow…I still gotta pack!

Also, I said by to my dad (in person) new years eve, which
was so tough. I’m going to miss that man of God.

22,000 students were split into 17 “community groups.” Then
out of the 1,500 people in my community group, we got into groups of about 8
and that was our family group. We
met our family groups every morning and evening to have devotions and discuss
what was going on in our life and anything else. I had a group of amazing young
people ages 18-22. It was such a great opportunity to pour into these amazingly
college students and they were so encouraging! I was so glad that God allowed
me to lead them in their studies about Jesus; it was a privilege! They were so
attentive and open to allow God to work in their lives. I could talk about them
so much more, but I’m trying to keep this blog short.

Worship was so great! It was loud, so I could sing as loud
as I wanted to! There was also prayer stations, which was a great peaceful
place to get in touch with God…wow…I can’t even explain with words. The Holy
Spirit was so thick and tangible in those rooms, it was so super natural. Yeah
I’m gonna stop talking. The main sessions, and breakout sessions were so profitable
too. I learned toooo much from all the speakers! Praise the Lord that He gave
these speakers wisdom and revelation!!

Topics:
Transformation is possible (Saul to Paul)
Renewing the mind (repentance)
micro-loans/community/transformation
making our lives ‘balance’ with God’s Word (don’t take out Scripture so that
your life lines up or ‘balances’ with the Word)
are we letting our desires control us or are we controlling our desires?
(remember: worldly desires are never satisfied) ex: Esau sold his BIRTHRIGHT for a bowl of soup…think about that…he traded
his promise from God, a nation after him, EVERYTHING!!, for a temporary immediate gratification…wow…
make disciples…don’t need to explain
anymore. That is the future of the church. Make disciples.
what is the reason for what we do? To make a lot of US or to make a lot of GOD?
 Proclaiming JESUS Name

I just cannot explain how great this weekend was! And thanks
to Brady, the college pastor at Keystone (Thrive) for paying my way!

I’m leaving in a little over a day. This is crazy. Enough
said. I journal, so if you wanna know more, I can just copy my journal for you.
Any questions about any part of the conference, I would LOVE to expound on the
topic!
