Being a gym teacher in Africa has always been one of my goals in life, and now: I DID IT!! woo-hoo!! The school was called “Celebrate Jesus Ministries” primary school and I taught for two weeks!!

It was a lot of fun! If I could speak in their language, it would have been much better, but some of them understood English ๐Ÿ™‚
Oh it was so much fun! I also connected with some of the younger boys. They are orphans and I helped them with daily chores, which was really powerful and also tried to be an example of what a man of God acts like. It was really cool how I could impact their life through words, and more importantly…actions!!
I kayaked and rafted (and floated) down the Nile River! [I should have gotten in a basket and experienced what Moses went through ๐Ÿ˜‰ haha!] Also, I visited my friend’s ministry, “Serving His Children” and it is a rehabilitation center for malnourished children. They have SUCH A GREAT program, it’s legit!! Also, their backyard is Lake Victoria…so LEGIT!! Then we came back to Kenya for debrief and it was really good! Our previous squad leaders were there to visit us, and it was so great! They challenged me on so much stuff and it was so wonderful! I have so much for to learn ๐Ÿ˜€
And now we are off to Tanzania!
