Lord,
I come before you humbly as a servant and prisoner of
you, first just wanting to say thank you for all that you have done.
You are worthy of all my praise. As I prepare for my next journey
in life, Lord I know that you are in total control of my life. I know you
know what's best for me. So Lord give me strength to lead
team G.P.S for the 11 months that we are on the field If
I can be honest, Lord sometimes I feel like Moses when you
called him to lead your people out of Egypt. Moses said I'm slow of
speech and sometime I feel inadequate to speak, but Lord
give me that same faith that he had to walk by faith and fight
until the end. Lord, give me the praise that David had.
Let me delight in you like he did. I want to be a man after your
heart like David. Lord, help me walk as Jesus did. Help
me love like He loved. Help me have the same compassion
like Jesus had. Let me rest in you like He did. Lord, let my life
be Holy and acceptable like His life was. I know I can't be
perfect like Christ, but give me the strength to strive to be
perfect. Lord, give me the discernment that Jesus had that
will guide me in all truth. Lord help me be like Paul and preach
the Gospel as boldly as he did. Help me stand firm in
the faith like him. Fill me with the passion that Paul had, the
passion that your people would know you through the life I
live. Last but not least, Lord humble me humble, make me an
even better listener, fill me with a greater love for your people, teach
me your ways. In your word, you said Elijah was a man just
like me that prayed earnestly (James 5:17), so Lord I believe
that you still are the same today. I know you also said, "The things
that are impossible with people are possible with God (Luke 18:27)".
Lord help me with a deeper and greater love. I believe all of these things in your mighty name,
