Where to begin…

It wasn't even a year ago today that I had even thought about signing up for the race.  It wasn't on my radar till the end of August.  Looking at the fundraising amount I was a little overwhelmed but then again I was signing up to see what God would do and where he would take me.

I looked at the website and decided "no matter what happens, unless God puts an obvious stop of this process, I'm moving forward".

The deadlines came and went people helping out and donating last minute.  The first deadline amount came in hours before I boarded my flight to training camp.  The second one went the same way, getting the amount days before leaving for launch.

My third deadline came three months into the race, while we were in South Africa.  I knew God was going to provide having proved himself on the first two deadlines.  Whenever someone talked about people being sent home for funds I refused to believe it. God had a reason for bringing me this far he would take me the rest.

Here I sit at the end of month 7 having spent the month teaching English to village children in Cambodia.  Once again God has provided and I no longer need to ask for money!  My account is full and I will be completing the World Race!

Going through Vietnam, Malaysia, Moldova and Romania.  I have four months left and instead of worrying about finances I can focus on the ministry in front of me!

Thank you so much to everyone who has donated and supported me financially.  Especially my parents who did so much for me back home, in helping collect my donations and passing them along!

Vietnam here I come!

P.S. after seven months of summer I'm missing snow…does this make me crazy? Perhaps but I get to have snow in two months so its not to far away 🙂

P.P.S. also here is a random picture of me in Angkor Wat, Cambodia.
