After reading some of the comments on my last blog and not really knowing what else to write about I thought I’d make a follow up to my last blog because they brought up something else I want to talk about.
Basically they reminded me that not only does He give me the desires of my heart but He put them there in the first place. Some of my earlier blogs are about how God had been setting up me going on the World Race for years before I had even knew what I wanted to do and had been guiding my steps along the way the whole time. Now I’m noticing that with my future plans He has also been setting up parts of my passions and personality since the very beginning of me. This time He just let me see that a little bit sooner since last time I didn’t realize that He had been doing that until it was pretty much already finished. I think it’s so cool that He sets it up so that I get excited about something and decide that it’s what I want to do when at the time it feels like I came up with the idea it always turns out that He had planted the seeds there years before and ultimately lets me make the choice even though He knew I was going to make the choice anyways. The scripture one of the comments quotes was this.
“Psalm 37:23 The Lord directs the steps of the godly. He delights in every detail of their lives.”
This pretty much outlines what I’ve been talking about Him doing in my life. It’s so cool that He cares just as much as I do about what I’m passionate about and what my future looks like and has fun setting it up with me. And I’m very thankful He does because it assures me that my plans, which were ultimately His plans will come to fruition and be even better than I imagined!
