Well, it’s almost a month into the race so far, and as a result of me fasting my cell phone for the extent of my voyage to this point, I realize that I do not have too many photos. More than that I have some vlogs on the way, but poor internet has prevented me from posting them…So, I stole some photos from some of my amazing photography teammates for your viewing pleasure. Enjoy what month 1 has literallylooked like.

This first one (by Sam the Man Adams) was from our first week of ministry. The main theme of this week was removing overgrowth and weeds. It had gotten pretty bad, and was a lot of work up to this point. When this picture was taken, we had cut down a tree and were working at removing the roots…fun times. The man on the right was our ministry host, Sano. He is an amazingly kind man of the Lord, and has an incredible story. Head to my teammate Davis’s facebook to check out his interview. https://www.facebook.com/davis.holliday.5

This picture (also by Sam) was taken towards the end of ministry, we were working on removing debris so that contractors could build a brick wall. I’m still not sure what we were looking at…maybe a gecko.

This one (also Sam, dang he’s good) is of Noodle Luke and me painting the church. Before this we had to sand everything down, it was hard work. It turned out well.

And this is a preview of the mural we did (we have since added more). Even to get to this point we had to sand the wall and paint it white, then our artistic folks killed it with some sweet concepts. A vlog is on the way to describe it more fully.

This, one of my personal favorites (by Elena on Sam’s camera) is on top of the closest mountain to Battambang. Our team had a wild adventure day (vlog to come shortly) and finished on this mountain where there were killing caves, temples, monkeys, and many bats which came out of another cave. It was wild. My team is pretty cool. Unfortunately our Leader Luke couldn’t come.

Another one from our adventure day (by Sam of course) was at the Crocodile farm! As soon as we walked up, a woman put this little guy straight into my hands! Fun times…we might go and buy a baby one for our team for the next 2 months.

And this one (by Parker the Parkdawg) was taken at a lake nearby our house. It’s a sweet place to chill with the squad and swim in the water, just be warned, don’t swallow the water.

So there ya go, some hints into what life has been like thus far. As I mentioned before, I got some vlogs on the way which will outline our ministry and adventure days more clearly. Thanks for checkin it out!

Thank you to everyone who has partnered with me in fundraising! That said, I still need almost $5,000 by January so that I can continue on to Central America.

Pray about it, and if you feel like you want to contribute and partner in the work the Lord is doing around the world, Please donate!
