The Awakening. What does it mean? What, or who, is being awakened? From what, to what? There are around 200 Racers here in Brasov, Romania, Squads H through K and a few former Racers, to find the answers to those questions. The answer? Well, basically we’ve been called to something higher than we are. We have heard a whisper of something more and have followed that voice and have entered this journey called the World Race while continuing on an even bigger journey called the Christian life and we need to make sure we are awake and alive and stepping fully into that calling.

This 3-day conference has been an introduction to some things and a continuation of conversations on others. We’ve been talking about what it means to live in Christ and for Him alone. We’ve been dreaming Kingdom Dreams and learning what that is all about and how to practically implement them. We’ve had a discussion on the basics of Spiritual Warfare, and so much more. The entire experience has been great and I am still trying to process it all. There is so much that I am continuing to learn now and so much more that I will learn as this trip continues, so periodically I will update you on what God is teaching me.

This has been a really good week for me in so many ways even though it was hard to leave our host family on Monday. I am looking forward to learning more about God and walking in His calling and anointing in these next months going forward. I had a few more prophetic words spoken over me this week about some things that God wants to do in my life and use me for. I was told that I need not fear because He is with me and has been there before. Even though that is so elementary it is good to be reminded once in a while that I have a God who is HERE. I have also received even more encouraging words to let me know that I just need to keep pressing into God and He will work everything out in His time and way. Go figure. 🙂                                                                    Triumph with part of the Viman family
Sometimes I feel like there’s no way that God will change me as much as, or more than, I want Him to in the next 9 months, but then I realize that He can do whatever He wants! I definitely do not want to be the same person when I get back to the States that I was when I left and I am doing everything that I can to also push for growth in my own life. We’ll see later what that will look like, but I am excited to see where I will be at the end of this trip and I am enjoying the process and the journey!

Be sure to read my teammates’ blogs also; they are linked to the pictures on the left. There you will get some different perspective on what we’ve been experiencing and will get to see the growth God is working in their lives as well.

And now, the news you’ve all been waiting for:

Team Triumph is going to

 Albania!!!!!

for October!
Please keep us in your prayers as we are pioneering in a place where World Racers have never been.
