In 25 days I will be arriving home!
There’s still so much to do! My squad mentor left this comment on one of my blogs when we were 40 days away from launch,
“God did a LOT in 40 days!
It rained for 40 days and 40 nights, and flooded the entire earth.
Moses spent 40 days seeking the Lord on Mt. Sinai
Jesus spent 40 days in the desert, facing and CONQUERING temptation before starting His ministry.
God can do this in 40 days, too! Praying for you!”
We have 25 days left as I type this and found myself thinking back to the beginning of this journey. The blog this comment refers to was blog was about fundraising. My goal was to be fully-funded by launch and 40 days seemed so so so close, yet so far. I thought I had heard from the Lord that the money was going to come in by launch, so I trusted Him and that is exactly what happened! He was faithful then and is still faithful now!
This comment came to mind as the countdown to the end is on and I find myself once again encouraged by the fact the we serve a big God, and if I keep myself open to what He wants to do here in these last 3 weeks that we will see amazing things happen.
I’m feeling very excited for home and all that life holds in this next season, but I am so ready for these last weeks here in Elbasan. These people are so amazing, and I am soaking in every single second we have left here.
