For anyone who doesn’t know, I work at an elementary school and we’ve been having a blast learning about the different places I get to go. The kids have all been asking some AWESOME questions so check them out…

Q & A (Kid Edition)

“Do you even like running?” boy age: 6

No way, cardio is the worst.

“Are you going to race around the world with a teammate looking for clues and competing in challenges?”  girl age: 9

My dear I believe you’re thinking of The Amazing Race which is an awesome show but not what I’m doing. What I am doing is going on the world race which is an 11 country, 11 month mission trip to share the love of Jesus and serve others around the world.

“Where are you going?” girl age: 10

October 2018 Route 1 which is going to…

  1. Colombia
  2. Ecuador
  3. Peru
  4. Bolivia
  5. Argentina
  6. India
  7. Nepal
  8. Armenia
  9. Georgia
  10. Bulgaria -> Romania
  11. Albania

“Place you’re most excited about visiting?” girl age: 7

India

“Are you going to teach school there?” girl age: 9

Every day will look a little different. Some days will be packed full with construction, VBS, evangelism, outreach, building relationships with orphans, or praying for the sick at a hospital. Some days could be slower – shopping for groceries at the market, cooking, and spending time praying for the community. Regardless of the pace or activity, every day will be focused on being a part of God’s kingdom work.

“Are you going to make potato chips?” girl age: 9

You never know but if it happens I’ll tell ya ๐Ÿ™‚

“What’s the question for next week’s Trivia Tuesday?” boy age: 9

(If the name didn’t give it away we have trivia about the world race/route on Tuesdays) spoiler: the answer is Peru.

“Do you have to learn other languages to go to these places?” girl age 9

No you don’t have to. I have been taking Spanish classes for awhile so I’m hoping to use some.

“How much money do you have to raise?” boy age: 8

My full fundraising amount which covers all food, lodging, air, land and sea travel once the trip begins is $18,200. Any additional money raised over my assigned amount, does not go to me, but a general fund for AIM. Therefore, I will notify all supporters when I am fully funded.

“When do you need the money by?” boy age: 7

January 2019

“Were you alive in 1937?” boy age: 9

“What will you eat? Can you bring snacks?” girl age: 7

Don’t fret there’ll be food. Prob different than what you eat at home but that makes it fun! If there is absolutely any extra room in my backpack I’d definitely bring peanut butter.

“Are you going to see Mt Rushmore….how about the Great Wall of China…are you going to China…how about Alaska…what about Montana…are you actually leaving Minnesota?” boy age: 7
