Oh sweet fam, in all honesty and humility, I have a financial need of $4,125 by Friday, November 30th, in order to be fully funded for the rest of this year of ministry.
How Lord? Where will it come from? What would you have me do? Is what we are doing worthy? Am I worth it? Did you really send me? Are you truly with me? How do you run your Kingdom? Do I truly trust you to provide? Why do I care so much what others’ think? What does your timing look like? How am I measuring success? What is success in your Kingdom? Is it worth everything for the one? Where is my fear, my insecurity coming from? Oh Lord….I trust you.
He says we can ask anything in His name and encourages us that He is a good, good Heavenly Father who knows what we need. —Matthew 7:7-12 John 14—
Here’s an open glimpse at some of the questions that have run through my mind praying into this month. Each one, I’m so thankful, God has answered for me through His Word. He has reminded me that He has no lack of resource, He truly marked and opened the doors for this year for me to step out in faith and obedience, my worth and value is not in what I do, He pursues the one, He loves the one, and He is the only thing we are seeking and giving, He is a provider, He is a good Father, He loves His kids beyond compare, His timing and purposes are flawless, His ways are not our ways, I am not alone, it is His pleasure to give His kids the Kingdom, He is the good news my heart beams with, and I can daily trust Him with my life.
This whole trip and all that I have been able to see and be a part of is and has already been such a gift!! It’s hard to put it in words how thankful I truly am for all that God is doing and will continue to do. It’s already our fourth month of the race, and my team and I are literally daily learning what it means to be the church body on mission to share the good news of our Savior. The Lord has already provided over $14,500 through many of you, garage sales, saving, and sacrifices that I could never earn, and I am just blown away at all who have given!!
I would love to ask for continued prayer over this year of ministry and specifically right now over funding. I know the only reason prayer matters is because of who we are speaking to, and He is a truly good Father. It would be such an honor and blessing to be praying alongside you. Also I would love to prayerfully ask you to consider partnering with me in this year of ministry by sharing my story, passing along my blog link, and/or joining with me financially. This crazy journey and opportunity to do life, share the gospel, and freely love throughout the Middle East and Asia is something I could have never dreamed of or been a part of on my own, and wholeheartedly I am surrendering to the Lord and relying on His people daily.
