Just over 80 people comprise the August 2009 World Race.
Those 80 people are divided into 2 Squads…(J Squad & K Squad) – Both squads will likely be serving in the same countries at the same time, but in different regions. *In Ireland – K Squad remained in the Dublin area while J Squad moved to Galway.
I am a member of the J Squad – 41 people, Squad Leaders are Caroline Crawford and Aaron Bruner (both have completed races before). They will be staying with us until the November timeframe and then elect new Squad Leaders from within our Squad and head themselves for home.
Our J Squad is divided into 6 smaller teams of ~7 people each. Our smaller teams will occasionally serve together, but not guaranteed. *In Galway, we split in half to allow 3 teams to partner together and serve 2 different churches (~20 people per church).
