I’m sure a lot of you are wondering what the world race is and what i am going to be doing specifically on my trip! The basic answer to that question is that the world race is an 11 month trip where you visit 11 nations during that time. During the 11 months we live out of a backpack and go to some of the least reached places and minister. Each nation is different for example if we were Thailand we would be working with women that are being sex trafficked and trying to find them safety. Throughout the race we help in orphanages, feed the poor, lay hands on the sick, preach the gospel of Jesus Christ, plant churches and most importantly show the love of God in whatever way he leads.
For my specific trip i have the opportunity to help pioneer the world races first ever 10/40 window trip in January! I am very excited and know that i am going to be stretched beyond my comfort zone. If you read my last post the reason i have chosen the race is because i want to know what it means to live abandoned for God. I want to know what it means to live for the Kingdom and to walk and see as Jesus did; to love as he did. I have done quite a bit of ministry here in the states, but i feel so very strongly that this trip will show me a whole new side to God and his love upon the earth.

We are not allowed to bring laptops or a lot of electronics because of the places we are going. Our trip mobilizers are helping to secure every area we are going into. We are going in to scope the land and help future racers and missionaries, but most of all were going to bring Love, freedom and healing to the lost and forgotten.
