First of all I want to apologize from the bottom of my heart to all of you who have supported me, it has taken me way to long to write a blog! Today is the day I am putting aside to tell you all that God has done and is doing in the nations. If you are a person that watches a lot of news and reads articles online about whats going on I want to bring some light and some hope to somethings. First of all I want to tell you i’m in the largest Muslim country in the world and I have never felt more hope than I do in this moment. God is moving in this Nation! He is making war against the false God of this country and coming after his lost sons and daughters like never before! There is a rumbling in the spirit and everyday I wake up I feel the oppression, but I feel his spirit more! God loves Muslims he wants them to know who they are he wants destroy the orphan spirit in them and bring them back into the kingdom. He wants Saul’s to become Paul in this hour and he’s asking us to see others with the eyes of the spirit! We are to be wise as serpents and harmless as doves! I love these people violently because that’s what they need, they yearn for the love of the father they just don’t know how to get it! We have his love, we have all we need according to life and Godliness! Just your smile to another person can change the course of their day because you have the creator of the world inside of you! If you could see in the spirit you would see that your light overcomes the darkness no matter how you feel remember you are a light and the darkness cannot comprehend the light! Hallelujah!
Okay now I will try to give you a recap on what has happened in the last 3 weeks! My team (trailblazers) had the amazing opportunity to stay with missionaries that have been in southeast Asia for over 20 years! This time has been extremely humbling and more eye opening than I could have possibly imagined. We would often have teaching in the morning about the culture and religion of the area we were in then we would go and do ministry with the new knowledge we were given.
One of our most amazing times of ministry was when we able to basically preach the gospel in a mosque! So the guys on our team went out to find the best route for our next day so that we wouldn’t get lost. Little did they know God had other plans, they went to one of the most well known mosques on the island and met one of the leaders! His name is Saleem which means Peace! At training camp we had many teachings about finding the man of peace and it just so happened we did and his name is Peace! Praise the Lord! The bible talks about bringing us before great men and that is exactly what he did with the guys on my team, God brought them before a great man a man who’s name was Peace! Saleem (peace) invited our whole team to come the next day and ask questions and learn from each other! So the next day our whole team found ourselves in a huge mosque, we were lights in the midst of such darkness and it was glorious! After Saleem got done with his prayer time he took us up the stairs to the farthest corner of the mosque where we got to talk about Jesus! Thad an amazing member of my squad told his testimony about how God changed his life and showed him who he was as his father. Saleem responded better than I thought he would, he received everything we said very well. As I sat there next to him I started to tear up I felt his spirit so strong and his hunger for God. I began to feel burdened for his soul and just when I thought I was going to burst the holy spirit spoke! I heard him say so clearly “Brandy I love Saleem more than you ever could and he is closer to the kingdom than you think.” The bible says that is we seek the Lord with all of our hearts we will find him and Saleem is definitely a seeker! As we sat there I realized that Saleem was very different from other Muslims because he believed that God is a good God and wants people to go to heaven! This is a huge deal because most Muslims think Allah or God is righteous but a cruel God that can doing whatever he wants. Everything in their religion is based off of works on how to please God their is no grace, their is no hope! God moved that day and Saleem didn’t get saved in that moment but God did a miracle in our midst! He brought us before a great man that is called to be a Daniel in his country! I no longer carry the burden of Saleem’s soul because God is going after his Son and will reveal his love for him. We as a team sowed the seed we loved the hell out of Saleem and he got the light of Jesus in a mosque that was full of darkness! Please continue to pray for him, he carries great influence and has an insane call on his life to the Muslim world. He is a Saul that needs to become a Paul in this hour! Amen!
Some more open doors, we were able to go to a house for unwed mothers called Ruth house. It was a beautiful place but hard to see at the same time. All the girls were Christian and knew Christ, but were in extremely difficult situations. Many were pregnant outside of wedlock and were being rejected by their families. We got to bring the love of the father and bring words of life and healing. Their was a beautiful 12 yer old girl at Ruth house on the outside she carried a lot of joy and smiled, but on the inside she was still getting healing from the father. She was a beautiful young girl that was assaulted and had a baby. When I first saw what had happened to her I was furious and filled with anger. Justice rose up in me I wanted justice for her, but then I saw Aaron. Aaron is her little boy, he was beautiful! As I held him all my anger left, only God could make something this beautiful out of such darkness. As I watched this beautiful child hold her baby I realized he had brought her some healing as well. That as she held him and looked into his eyes she truly loved him. Please continue to pray for her and Aaron, he is up for adoption and needs a good Godly home. Most of all pray for her she comes from a very hard home and needs so much more healing. Pray that God would help her to be a 12 year old again and that she could have fun again. Also pray for the other girls at Ruth house that God would continue to bring healing and reconciliation in their families. That their families wold learn to forgive and have grace just as Jesus has grace for us!
I could go on and on about all the doors God opened, but these are some highlights. If you have any feedback or want more details please don’t be shy let me know what you want to hear! Out of all of the things we did I just loved to love on these people! I got to love them every time I came into contact with them. If it was just a hand shake or a hello, I felt the heart of the father for them. I saw them as future brothers and sisters, I love the hell out of them. I personally don’t believe its possible to minister to people unless you have the love of the father. Without the love of the father people just become numbers and projects, we need to see them through our fathers eyes! When we see others through his eyes everything changes all of our stigmas and judgments fall away and we realize that all they need is a father. The greatest need of humanity is to be loved and accepted! People want to know that they are of value and that they were made for purpose, but most of all to know they are loved and accepted. If this is the only gift God gives me I am not going to bury it, I’m going to love with every fiber in my being! I am definitely not perfect at this and my flesh takes over more than I would like to admit, but I choose to get back up and try again. Thank God for grace! I love all of you with the fathers love in me, please know that you are loved and that you have a purpose! You have something no one else has don’t bury your gifts use them to touch the world with the love of Jesus!
Bless you!
