Hey everyone! I’m back! Been awhile since I’ve posted on here. I checked and my last blog was on May 19th. It was a recap of my time in Indonesia last February, and it ended with the hopeful promise of an update on my next steps “in a week or two”. Welp, nearly 8 months later…here we are. Honestly that feels like a lifetime ago. So much has happened this last year and so much has changed and plans have been shuffled, and then been reshuffled; it’s been wild.

I wanted to give you all a snapshot of my last year, but as of now I don’t know that I really have a good way of doing that, so I think I’ll hold off on any big year recap type of thing. Maybe in the next week or two (or 8 months, just kidding) I’ll have that down and can share a little more. For now, here’s a quick update on where I’m at, what I’m doing, and how you can be praying.

Right now I’m down in Gainesville, GA at the main base of Adventures in Missions. I am helping lead another Expedition Squad for the World Race and will be doing that over the course of the next few months.

Our squad left a few days ago and flew down to Guatemala, where we will be working alongside hosts throughout the country.

Currently I am not with them, and this is where the shuffling and reshuffling has followed me into the new year. The day before flying out I tested positive for covid, so I am still here in the US quarantining and getting better before flying down, which I hope will be next week.

I’m pumped for this squad and the journey before them. I know how incredible this adventure can be and I’m excited to see where God takes them.

That’s all I really got for now. I will be keeping you all in the loop as we press forward. It was one of my goals last go round to post more, specifically pictures, which happens to be a weak spot of mine, so we’ll see. For now, I appreciate you all joining me on this and following along for Round 3.

Love you all!
