Team leading up till this point has been and will continue to be.a privilege. It’s not just that I’m a leader, it’s much more important than that. It’s that I’m seeing disciples unfold into what God has for them right in front of my eyes. I’m seeing these 7 exceptional men want the keys to the Kingdom and having them in front of me has made me fear the Lord even more. A Holy fear and trembling that reminds me of Gods grace on me. The reality of finding my voice not only as brother , but as a man is a task for sure. Such a privilege it is to speak life into these men.

Not only has this softened my heart, but it’s made me drop to my knees in submission because I don’t have all the answers. Im not God, however he’s given me His spirit. So In that truth, it’s awakened me even more to how Holy Spirit can lead me. As soon as Squad C got to campus, the lord pressed his hand down on me that I would accept his discipline……..Usually I would have never thought this, but Christ is disciplining me. He is teaching me to understand the lessons in my life with some pain and grief. The things that help me go from boyhood to manhood.

How does someone, in any circumstance, stay humble?

What a life long question.

But thanks God that he’s given us a life long answer!

Philippians 2:3-4 says” “Do nothing from selfish ambition or conceit, but in humility count others more significant than yourselves. Let each of you look not only to his own interests, but also to the interests of others.” In this I’m learning to get from myself —-> Christ.   Choosing to feel and sit in my trouble for a bit, feel it, embrace it, and get to the Tree of Life. That’s where I find Christ in me. Understanding that this keeps me in my weakness. And makes me strong in the Lord.  I don’t know exactly how to put this verse in here. So please please please go read 2 Corinthians 12:9-10, ask God to open your eyes and let this sink into your spirit. So ya, finally  my dream is to walk in the “way of love” as described in 1 corinthians 13. Because love never ends.

For my leadership team Kate Goeler, Brooke Landt, Phillip Wilson,   Nikki Jacobson, Paige Canova, Emalani Higdon, Anna Horst, Nathan Chandler. They are some amazing sons and daughters. And Can I tell you something? they are ordinary people who are deeply loved by an extra ordinary Father. Their simple yes to buy in, speaks volumes. In a world where it’s easy to get, they choose to give away. The honor is all mine!

Lord I pray that your eyes never leave them, you never turn your face from them. They need you, we need you, we want you.

What a season already, I’m confident in saying there’s no where else I need to be but right here. With the Church.
