Hey Family!

I got BIG news! Through careful consideration and lots of prayer the World Race has decided to take China off of our route in October due to security reasons and health safety. We are now going to Taiwan!

I am so excited to get to go to Taiwan. I would have loved to go to China and ministered there but I believe God has a special purpose for us in Taiwan. I can’t wait to see what He has planned for us there.

Ya know, this change makes me think about just how much God is in control. In a blink of an eye, He can unexpectedly change your life to somewhere you never thought you would be. Just like me being called to missions in Asia, but when it is God calling for a change, I know it has to be good. Because God is good. All the time.

A lot of times it is easy to get caught up in the comfort of a routine. I know personally, comfort is one of the biggest things I am drawn to. I like to be comfortable wherever I am with whatever I’m doing. Like taking really long hot showers or getting the same meal every time I go to a restaurant (chicken finger and fries…lol) or just being a true blue couch potato.

God is really going to challenge me on this trip to step out of my comfort zone and I think that is a great thing. Because it’s in those times that I think we grow the most.

I know God is sending me to do great things for His kingdom. It’s just like Isaiah said in Isaiah 43:19– “See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.”

I am going to these countries to help “make a way” to experience the true love of God and the everlasting life that He gives us. And the overwhelming joy in all of his creation.

So here we come Taiwan! God has brought us an Unexpected Change and I just know it’s going to be a great one!
