So let’s start with an apology with me being sorry that I havent been able to update this blog as often as I would like. Between work, buying stuff for gear, and just dealing with the overwhelming task of getting ready for this amazing experience, I have had almost no time to post anything on here. However, I finally have a moment!…. In Denver International Airport 🙂
Yup, I am Training Camp bound and currently in the terminal ready to board my flight to Atlanta for ten days. I have never been more excited in my entire life! Or more anxiously nervous either. However, I know everything is going to be okay. Reading through Psalms really put my mind in the right place and reminded me, yet again, that God is going to be here with me as I set off.
I also really quickly, before I board, just want to thank you all though for all you guys have done. This entire trip is being made possible by you guys. You guys are amazing and I am constantly dumbfounded by all your guys generous gifts, donations, love, and kindness. A lot of times I struggle with depression and hopelessness, but I am always lifted up by you all and reminded that God is always with us, that he loves us, and that he’s going to take care of us. I’ve never been the smartest person around so these reminders are REALLY needed and I just want to say you all are doing an amazing job at just that.
I know I probably am making no sense right now because of how nervous and tired I am but if there’s one thing I can make clear I want it to be this:
I love y’all. I thank y’all. And I also thank you, God, for always being here for me. I do not deserve it and I am eternally grateful. I am still yours.
Pray for a safe flight and God bless!!
