It has been hard trying to sit down a write a blog post about what has been happening here in India. So I think all I can do is start at the beginning and try and work my way through to the present. The night we arrived in India it was 3:00 a.m. here and after about 32 hours of traveling we had made it to our destination, or so I thought. Once we had made it out of the airport we were greeted by our ministry contact we stood around for a few minutes then we all started to pack our gear onto a little bus let me tell you dear reader that getting 108 bags of luggage is no small task, so I wish to say thank you to the brave souls that accomplished this feet. Maggie, Jacob, and Katy yall are the real MVP’s of packing, they managed to get all the packs placed onto the bus and still have room left over for people to sit down. After the packs and people were loaded up, we were off to our Host home to learn about the culture of India and its people for the next few days. During that time we learned everything we could about Indian culture but it wasn’t until me and this guy with an epic mustache went on an epic quest to find me more camera batteries that I actually started to understand what the training was about people were every where trying to sell the wears and cook the food to sell were ever we went people stared at us and the wanted to take pictures with us. After a few hours, in the midst of the hassle and bustle of Indian traffic that could make San Antonio traffic look like a walk in the park, me and my new friend Brant managed to find the item I had been looking for. After returning home, my team and me met up and started planning our trip to our ministry site and what we would be doing there once we had arrived. After talking for about an hour we had our plan set and were ready to embark on our life-changing journey. Dear reader this is where I will leave you, there is more to this story and I do hope you return for the rest of this tale I am telling so until next time. I pray for Gods will in your life to be made apparent and that you will chase after it to the very ends of the earth.
