Ohh the lovely task of support raising. People may not really know this about me, but I HATE asking people for help. That's one of the reasons support raising is such a challenge for me. So after I swallowed my pride I began writing support letters. I sent a ton out, slowly my funds have begun to come in. First off I want to thank all of the people that already gave. To the rest of you. What are you waiting for? I was sitting on my computer and as I normally do I had facebook open in the background. I was going over numbers, setting goals, looking at percentages(I'm kind of a nerd with this stuff) then a number caught my eye, the number was 780. That is the number of people on my friends list. I've mostly been raising support from the people in my age group. Which anyone that attended college understands money is always tight. When some have given money they've said "im sorry but this is all I'm able to give." Every single time I just want to grab them by the shoulders and shake them! Every single dollar counts spare change counts! Don't believe me? So that number I said earlier, that 780. Well what would happen if each of those people gave 75 cents a week until I leave? That would total out to over nine thousand dollars. Yeah, you read that right, over nine thousand dollars which is over 60 percent!! 60% from 3 measly quarters a week. Do you still think that the little amount you are able to give wont help? Need I shake you more? I know a majority of the people that are following me and reading my blog don't have the ability to give a hundred bucks, that's not what I ask of you. Next time you reach into you're pocket and find a couple singles toss one or two aside. Everything in life can be broken down to inches, help push an inch at a time. All those inches add up to miles.
Philippians 4:19
But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus
