So as most of the country knows, we are currently being hit with a winter super storm.  While the snow isn't really up to my nose I just liked the sound of that title.  However the snow is up to my dogs nose.  When you open the door she fires off the a shot into the yard, if it weren't for her brown hair you'd lose sight of her.  After the snow finally finishes falling its bound to be over her head.  She looks outside and can very well see the snow, she can see that it will engulf her.  But that's the fun in it, jumping and diving into the snow.  Its no fun to just stand there and look at the snow, and sometimes you cant even see the fun to be had in the snow, but trust me you'll have a blast being in it.  This blog is going to be short sweet and to the point.  I don't know about you but I view the church in the same way.  If you're there, just there, standing in the snow and not doing anything.  It's no fun!  But when you have friends with you, and you dive in, you'd be surprised to see how much fun you'd have.  Those of you that are at your church and you're not feeling it anymore, the church grabbed you at first but now you don't feel that way anymore.  It's the same feeling that a kid has when its snowing.  It's AWESOME at first but then you're snowed in and cant leave so you don't really like it anymore.  As soon as that kid gets outside and into the action the snow has an all new appeal again.  You see it for its potential.  Basically what I'm saying here is, if you're feeling like the church you once loved isn't really doing it for you anymore, maybe you just need to jump on in and get involved volunteer, get to know people.  Don't just stand in the snow storm, throw a snowball, sled down a hill.  The options almost seem endless, just like at your church.  You CAN find a place at your church that you will absolutely love, its all about looking.  The longest lasting Joy you can find in this world, is serving your God.  So lets get out and be JOY FILLED!
