Honduras has rocked my faith! I have discernment for pain that is really getting activated here. To understand it better, I should probably say that I feel peoples pain. Not everyone’s all the time. Well at least not anymore. When it first started happening, I got pretty overwhelmed by it and shut it down. Holy Spirit is centering my focus on who he wants healed. It’s been pretty amazing. I don’t get it right every time. In fact a lot of people give me some pretty wild looks when I ask them if they have pain in a certain place. But the worry of people thinking I’m crazy has left me. I am gonna tell you a little about this month.
The other day, I was “talking” with a drunk guy. I had told him numerous times that I didn’t understand him but he just kept talking. I guess I was the cheapest and best listening shrink he had ever had. While this was going on, the rest of the team went across the street to talk with some men that turned out to be believers. As I walked over to get in on the prayer, my shoulder started to hurt. It wasn’t just a minor pain though. When I moved my arm around, I could feel grating and popping. I knew it wasn’t me because I hadn’t done anything but walk across the street. I wrestled with the Lord on it for a while and then as prayer was wrapping up, I stepped out in faith. I had Kelly ask them if either one had pain in their right shoulder. What do ya know, one of them did. I told him that God was gonna heal him and ask if he would step into the middle so that we could all lay hands on him. This was an even bigger step of faith. I told him that God was gonna heal him because as I was saying it the Lord said, “I only give you this discernment when I want someone to be healed”. When we were praying, all I felt the need to do was thank Jesus for already healing this man. I will never get tired of wide eyes, goose bumps, and tears as Papa shows people how much He loves them. The guy says, “I have served the Lord for years and never seen anything like this! I will never forget what happened today!” After saying our goodbyes, we went into a friend’s house of the pastor we were with. I instantly got a headache and my eyes started to hurt. I had them ask the people if anyone in the house suffered from migraines. They called their nanny down and a women that had been suffering from migraines that messed with her vision for 12 years was healed by the power of the Holy Spirit! God is so good!
I know now that Jesus is just getting started. Our Race is stepping into a new realm of healing that’s talked about in the Bible. In Mark 16:17-18 Jesus says, “These miraculous signs will accompany those who believe: They will cast out demons in my name, and they will speak in new languages. They will be able to handle snakes with safety, and if they drink anything poisonous, it won’t hurt them. They will be able to place their hands on the sick, and they will be healed.”
Yesterday, our teams went to a “retirement home”. As we walked in, my eyes started to hurt and the word cataracts popped in my head. I told everyone that we needed to find a blind person and if not blind then right there. We found him! His name is Zacharias. Papa actually healed his back before we even prayed for his eyes. When Kelly asked him about his eyes he said he had back pain. So we prayed for the back pain and it went bye bye. I had actually walked on to the next person when Kelly said, “Brandon he can’t see anything!”

I have to admit that actually finding him overwhelmed me for a moment. When we prayed for him, this is what some of mine sounded like, ”Jesus this has to completely come from you! I can’t do anything without you!” The love of Jesus opened the eyes of a man that had lost all but complete vision for ten years. I was so humbled by the Glory of God that I got down on my knees and worshipped Him! Another man had a stroke a year ago and had lost most of the use of his right side. Before we left this man was walking around, carrying his walker over his head for all to see! Jesus is telling me that this is just the beginning and I know it to be true. We have seen around twenty healings since arriving in Honduras and that number is destined to sky rocket!
