“I remember the days of old; I meditate on all your works; I muse on the work of Your hands” Psalm 143:5
“It is incredibly important to carry the works of God with you!” –Jonathan Welton
I have only been serving the Lord since February 5th of this year. In this time He has shown me so very much! He has recently told me that I am seeing the tip of the iceberg and that seeing the rest entitles swimming in the ice cold water. Not the uncomfortable aspect but in the way that cold water on the face wakes you up. Imagine how awake you would get from water surrounding a glacier! I am excited and have learned to love His surprises.
What He has been showing me recently is to remember and share the experiences (gifts) that He has let me be a part of. I have been selectively hoarding my God experiences and He has said, “Enough”. This hasn’t been out of selfishness but mainly out of fear of scaring people and fear of rejection/unbelief. He has released me from these fears in preparation for The World Race. Basically, what I have been experiencing is the tip. What I will experience on the world race is the layer right under the water. It’s going to open my eyes to the reality of His mission field. I feel like He is saying the same for you. I have been trying to shelter you from His Majesty for fear of you not being ready. I’m sorry. I realize now that this is also preparation for you as well. If you continue to follow me, I know that we will experience this together!
Psalm 77:10-12 reads “And I said, “This is my anguish; but I will remember the years of the right hand of the Most High.” I will remember the works of the Lord; surely I will remember your wonders of old. I will also meditate on all your works, and talk of your deeds”. What Asaph was doing, was remembering and sharing the good times during the bad. I need to do this! I have to do this! Even when things are amazing I should be sharing the wonders of the Almighty. I say all of this to say that the next two blogs share a day with Papa that I will never forget! “I pray also that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which He has called you, the riches of His glorious inheritance in the saints” Ephesians 1:18
