So the other day we were asked to clean and paint a piece of a wall that had some water damage.
Sounds easy enough right? Wrong.
As we start to scrub the wall we quickly realized the obvious. The problem was coming from within the wall so the topical scrubbing wouldn’t do much.
So we wiped down the wall and jumped into the painting process hoping this would fix the problem.
Once again, as we started painting we quickly realized the paint wasn’t just going to cover up the problem and it may only be a temporary fix.
The problem was coming from within and without actually digging it out to let the problem free, no amount of paint would ever cover it up.
I don’t know about you but usually I try to do the same thing in my life. I try to hide my problems with layers and layers of paint before eventually realizing that no matter how much I try to cover it up. It’s never actually going to cover it because the dirt will always seep and peak through.
What is it water damage your trying to paint over?
Grace & peace,
Bran
