Is it really possible that we just finished our last Ministry day of MONTH 10?! That means we’re about to start month 11 and more than that, it means the race is about to end.

Of all months on the race though, this is the first month it has genuinely felt like I wasn’t on the race…in fact, I almost forgot we were.

This month our days were longer than most other months.

We had hours upon hours of Ministry that was a lot of physical labor so that meant we were exhausted by the end of it.

This month, we had maybe 1 day off a week rather than our normal 2 days we usually get.

This month, we were back in American priced food…when you live on $5 a day that makes a huge difference.

This month our living situations weren’t always easy. This included sleeping in my hammock and going to bed sweating most nights and usually waking up with more mosquito bites than I can count.

But this month, I felt more energized than I have the entire race.

This month, I felt more rested.

This month, our food was multiplied and the Lord blessed us through people on multiple accounts.

This month, I didn’t often feel like I needed an adventure day because of what our normal life was.

This month I felt like I was just living in community with my friends in Costa Rica.

Earlier in the month the Lord gave me the words “Radical Love” to define what the month would be. At the time I had no clue what that would look like.

Fast forward 3 weeks and I’m blown away.

The Lord has met each of us in very individual and very radical ways.

The community here in Jaco has enveloped us in love.

I’m walking away from this month with closer sense of intimacy with the Lord, new tan lines, a whole bunch of a mosquito bites, new muscle from loads of construction and a lot of new friends.

This month, we’ve been radically loved.
