I am officially entering
a new season on The World Race.
As two members of G-squad
have returned home as well as three members being raised up as squad leaders,
some changes were necessary within the squad.
Every team that
originally started the race has been split up in some way.
Some people are with a
few people from their original team.
Others are with a whole
new family, like me.
No matter who we are
with, these are the people that we need for this season of life.
I am now a part of
another all girls team called Team Chayil (khah’·yil).
Pictured from left to
right are me, Rebecca Price, Betty Gomez, Whitney Huntley, Joan Moore, and Liz
Schuerger. If you would like to view their blogs, there are links to each of
their blogs on the left hand side of my blog.
While we were in Costa
Rica we were all sitting around talking about what this season of life was
going to be for each of us individually and as a team.
Virtuous seemed to be a
common theme, so I looked up the word online to see what it was in Hebrew
(Betty had said it was something like Chayil, and she was correct!).
So, there we have it TEAM CHAYIL!
This meaning of virtuous is derived from the KJV
of Proverbs 31:10, “Who can find a virtuous woman? for her price is far
above rubies.”
Meanings of virtuous in
this passage are strength, ability,
wealth, and army.
Our Father has given us
each other for this season.
We were each hand-picked
by Him for this season of life.
We are mighty warriors
ready to fight battle for His Kingdom and His glory.
We have His rich
blessings over us and we are armed with the armor of God, ready for what He has
for us!
As we enter into this new
season, we could REALLY use your prayers.
Pray for depth to come out in our conversations.
Pray for each of us to be unified together by our
Father.
Pray for strength as we go into ministry daily.
As for me, I know the
Father has so much prepared for me in this season.
Pray for me to have a
depth with the Father that I have never had before, a yearning to hear His
voice.
Also, He has so much
prepared for my family back home.
I have not heard my father’s
voice, or talked to him in five years, but just the other day while talking to
my mom on Skype he was asking me questions about my month. God is doing some
mighty work to restore the relationship that I have with my father, even though
I am miles and miles away.
It has been prophesied
over me so many times that the relationships that are broken within my family would
be restored. In Nicaragua I was just about to give up on having the
relationships restored, I was just about to think that it wasn’t going to
happen.
MY GOD IS DOING WORK!
He is working so much right
now in my family.
Pray for my family members to come to know
Christ, my mom, dad, brother, papa, aunts, and uncles.
After my gma’s passing,
my papa and one of my aunts have been taking steps to come to know the Lord.
Pray that everyone in my
family would take these very steps.
