I’m so blessed with this first month of ministry.

Our contact, Tony, is awesome.

Ministry is going to be awesome

Most importantly, my God is present here, and He is awesome.

To give you all a run-down on life on The World Race this
month, I’m going to give you a glimpse of what our month will look like.

In short, this is NOT
your typical month on The World Race.

                             WHY
NOT??

We are pretty much
starting off with so many blessings…

Western Toilets

Americanized food

Working showers

All of G-squad being together

Having tons of flexibility in ministry

Living indoors in our tents (some people are outdoors)

Mall days on Fridays (expect updates from me each Friday)

Living in community with our teams and our squad

Tony, our contact is American, so he understands where we
are coming from

Working with boys that were previously on the streets

Loving on girls that have been abandoned

All of these blessings are just from our orientation we had
tonight.

We have not even started ministry yet!

I’m beyond excited for this month and to share with you how
the Lord leads us in ministry.

Here’s a glimpse at what ministry will look like during the
week for us.

Monday-Wednesday we will be working on the land that the ministry is
located, from cutting grass with a machete, to digging holes, to building
gardens, to painting walls, etc.

Thursday we will be going to work in a school, INHFA, where there are
young girls. Ministry this day can look like anything from playing games,
sharing testimonies, painting nails, braiding hair, building relationships,
etc.

Friday we will be going into the streets and evangelizing to
nationals in many different ways. During the afternoons we will have the
ability to spend some time at a mall and getting some wifi. You can expect
updates from me on Fridays.

Saturday we will be going into remote villages where even the
nationals don’t go. This will be a time for us to reach out to communities that
have never heard the name Jesus.

Stay tuned for more updates coming your way on Fridays!

Until next time, please
be praying for the people we are doing ministry with.

Pray for God to mold us
as we are stretched doing ministry together as a squad.

Pray for God’s presence
to be all over us as we share about His love.

Pray for God to give us
the strength and endurance to make it through the long, hot days.

Pray for God to protect
us at our ministry locations and as we travel.

Pray for God to speak to
the nationals here.

Pray for God to move in
the villages that have never heard the name Jesus.

Pray for God to guide us
as we seek Him to lead us in ministry opportunities.
