Since I have a
degree in accounting (as of yesterday!), I figured that I would add a little
spice to this World Race blog with a touch of accounting knowledge.

IF you file your
taxes by way of form 1040, then line #40 can be of great help to you if you
itemize your deductions. What better way to add to your deductions than to
contribute towards the work that God is doing around the world!
While on the Word Race I will be able to…
Witness
captives being set free
Heal
the sick
Hold
orphans
Share Jesus
Cast
out demons
Serve
as Jesus served
Feed
the hungry
Be
the Hands and Feet of Jesus
Fight Human Trafficking
Care
for the homeless
Live with Gypsies
Your contribution
made towards this ministry serves as not only a tax deduction, but you will
enable me to go and share Jesus with 11 nations.
Due to my
accounting degree, I like to break things down to know the details. Let me
share with you some numbers…
$3.75 (food)
$5.25 (lodging)
$3.00 (transportation)
$3.33 (Long distance traveling)
=
$15.33
Excluding intercontinental travel, I will
be living on $15.33 a day for 11 months!
Maybe your tax
deduction can go towards the following…
One month of daily living expenses
for me… $459.90
One month of food… $112.50
One month of lodging… $157.50
One month of transportation… $90.00
One month of Long distance traveling… $99.90
Many of you
know how I have used 11:11 in several of my blogs or the whole #11n11. Well,
you see, if you double that (so 11 x 2) it is 22! Also, that just happens to be
the number of years I have been on this earth!
(SIDENOTE: Yes, I will be on The World Race for 11 months, and these are for 22 months worth of donations. That intercontinental travel that I was talking about above is where the extra 11 months for each item comes from. Sorry if this confused anyone.)
If 22 people supported one month’s worth of food…
If 22 other people supported one month’s worth of
lodging…
If 22 more people supported one month’s worth of
transportation…
If 22 additional people supported one month’s worth of
long distance travel…
THEN…I’D BE FULLY SUPPORTED FOR THE WORLD
RACE!!!
88 people
could be LIFE changers.
88 people
could be senders.
Will you commit to being 1 of the 88?
If you feel led to
commit to being 1 of the 88, then the following are two options for ways to
contribute. 🙂
1. You can go here right
now and sponsor me, or you can click on the “Support Me!” link at the
top left of this page under my photo. (NOTE: Contributions made online have a
3% processing fee for Credit cards.)
2. Also, you can
send a check made payable to “Adventures In Missions” to Adventures
In Missions, PO Box 534470, Atlanta, GA 30353-4470. Please put “Appeal ID:
WILCOXBRANDI” on the memo line. Checks have no processing fee and
therefore all 100% of the contribution goes towards my World Race ministry.
