How often do we tell people, “I’ll pray for you.”

BUT…

Then we don’t.

We get caught up in the moment.

We forget what we were supposed to pray for.

We just simply don’t do it.

Maybe I shouldn’t speak for
everyone, but I will be the first to admit that I have done this…often.

I’m sorry.

I’m sorry for never praying for your prayer
requests.

I’m sorry for promising that I would.

I’m sorry for letting you down.

Please forgive me.

Back in 2010 I remember fervently
praying for people that I had met.

I prayed for these people every
single day.

I remembered to pray for them
because I would write their names down in the back of my journal.

God worked through me so much during that time.

I humbled myself in journaling every night before going to
bed and prayed wholeheartedly for God to work in others’ lives, for Him to
provide for their needs, and for healing to come.

Somewhere along the line I stopped
praying those specific prayers.

Now, I’ve turned more towards
praising Him for all that He has done.

As well as, lifting up requests from
my daily interactions with people on the race.

I’ve had it on my heart for a long
time to write this blog, but never found the words.

Until this month…

We will literally pray for hours most days.

The first day we did ministry we
prayed for an hour in the morning.

Went into the barrios
(neighborhoods) and prayed over people for two hours.

We ended the night with a prayer meeting that lasted an
hour.

AT LEAST 4 HOURS OF PRAYER DURING MY FIRST DAY OF MINISTRY.

Coming into this month, I asked God
to rekindle my passion for prayer, and BOY is He answering!

Daily I find myself speaking with my Father, seeking His
will for my life, and what He has for me that day.

It is SOO good!

Jesus replied, “I tell you the truth, if you
have faith and do not doubt, not only can you do what was done to the fig tree,
but also you can say to this mountain, ‘Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ and
it will be done. If you believe, you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer.”
Matthew 21:21-22

I wholeheartedly
believe that God can move mountains through prayers.

I wholeheartedly
believe that my God will move through my hands by way of prayer.

I wholeheartedly
believe that He has gifted me with a passion for prayer for His glory.

So here it is.

I’m done saying “I’ll pray for you,”
and never doing it.

I’m laying myself down.

I’m interceding to the Father on
YOUR behalf.

I want to know your prayer requests,
BIG or small.

Let me know what the Father is doing in your life
that you need prayer for.

Let me know if you need provision for finances, housing,
missions’ trips, etc.

Let me know if you need prayer for divine appointments.

Let me know if you need to draw close to Him.

Let me know if you want me to pray for protection.

Let me know if you need prayer for healing.

Let me know if you want prayer to know who God is.

Let me know if you need prayer for guidance in your future.

I want to be the prayer warrior that
my FATHER created me to be; to rekindle that passion and intercede on your behalf
daily.

Whether I know you or not, I’m
willing and desiring to pray for you.

Don’t be shy!

My prayer requests for you readers…

Pray for my relationship with the
Father to deepen daily.

Pray that I would be completely
present for every single day of ministry here (and wherever I am).

Pray that my passion for prayer
would never dwindle.

Pray for God to provide for my
personal expenses on the field.

On that last note, being on the
missions’ field has been much more expensive than I thought. I had projected
spending about $100 each month, but that has been hard to stick to. So often I
need to pay for transportation and food for my off days, or I need to buy
groceries because the rice and beans I’m eating do not sustain me. Not to
mention, before I left for The World Race, I spent about $2,500 on items for
the race, from clothes to toiletries to gear.

So many of you reading this have made it possible for me to
be here on The World Race right now, and for that I say a BIG THANK YOU.

I don’t want to ask for more money,
but realistically I know I will not make it all 11 months with what is in my
bank account right now. Would you
prayerfully consider supporting me for my personal expenses incurred pre-race
and while on the field?
My goal is to raise at least $500 for these
expenses. Anything from $5 to $100 can go a long way on the missions field! And hey, Jesus has already provided over $15,500 so that I can be on
the race. $500 is pocket change to a God
that owns the whole world.
