For so many years of my life I have thought….
I’m not good enough.
I’m not pretty enough.
I’ll never be able to settle down.
A man could never love me for who I am.
I would never be able to take care of a
family.
My life would never be fulfilled if I
didn’t have a family.
I’m not worthy of having someone love me
for the rest of my life.
Nobody could ever put up with me since
my friends always leave me.
I have gone too far with too many men
for a Godly man to ever want to be with me.
LIES.
Those
are lies from satan.
None
of them are true.
You know
why?
I am worthy.
Just as I am right now…
I am worthy.
My
Daddy knows the desire of my heart to marry someday.
It
says so in His word…
“Delight yourself in
the LORD and he will give you the desires of your heart.” Psalm 37:4
I
never believed that.
If I
would delight myself in Him, that He would give me my heart’s desire.
It’s
true.
You
know why?
All scripture is God breathed.
He
knows my heart.
He
knows my past.
He
knows that I want to hold my very own precious children in my arms one day.
He
knows who I will marry.
He
knows that my future husband will forgive me from my past.
He
knows when my future children will be born.
He
knows every single detail about my future.
You know what I have to say to those
lies satan has been telling me over and over again?
Lies, you can go back
to Hell where you came from!!!
I am worthy.
I am
worth it all, even my Savior’s death on the cross.
I am
worth every single day I will spend with my future spouse.
I am worth it all for him to give me the
desires of my heart.
G-squad’s
squad mom, Marcy Dawson, shared something with me on a one-on-one during our
month 4 debrief in Brasov, Romania.
I, Brandi Lynn Wilcox, was created from
my future husband’s ribs.
That’s
powerful.
Think
about the story of Adam & Eve, it relates to real life today.
Marcy
also shared with me this…
I am worthy of a future husband, but my Daddy wants to
romance me in this season.
That’s
good!!
During
our month 6 debrief on Pangkor Island, Malaysia Marcy shared with the squad
about marriage.
She
shared about the woman being created from her husband’s rib and it hit me.
He
has knit each of us together for a purpose.
Our oneness with our future spouse will
be through His spirit connecting the two together.
Ladies,
you are worthy.
You
are so worthy.
Just
the way you are, you are worthy.
Stand
firm on the foundation of Jesus in knowing where your worth comes from.
You are
not defined by this world, but you are defined in your maker.
The
Creator of the world knows your desires, He knows all of them.
Believe
that you are worth it all.
Even
spending your life with a Godly man.
You are worthy.
