On Friday, May 18th I will leave Angola, Indiana and start the trek down to Tennessee.

I will be traveling down to Tennessee with 2 other lovely ladies where we will meet up with 5 other people on our team.

Then we will wake up on Saturday and make the trek down to a camp in White, GA.

When we arrive to camp we will be united with all 50+ people on our squad.

((As well as meeting the other two squads leaving in July.))

I can’t express how excited I am to meet these people!

Why am I so excited about this??

These people are my family.

These people have been some of my closest friends in the last 9 months.

These people are awesome.

These people are traveling the world together.

These people have a love and passion for God like no other.

These people are God’s children.

These people are crazy on fire for God.

These people have a desire for the world to know Christ.

These people are bonded together through Christ.

These people are my G’s.

What’s a “G?”

When Adventures in Missions first launched The World Race in 2006, the first squad was called “A squad.” Since then, every squad afterwards has had the next letter in the alphabet. So many world racers have been sent around the world that they had to start the alphabet over, hence “G.” To be all technical and stuff, we are G squad 2nd generation. For any of you up with twitter lingo, you can find my squadmates with this hashtag: #gsquadwr.

What are we doing at training camp?

Being stretched

Being prepared

Being transformed

Being informed

Being equipped

Being united

Being focused

Being readied

Ultimately, we are growing together as a family.

Learning about what the World Race is.

Worshipping and learning about our Savior.

We will be prayerfully lifting up the needs of our squad.

We will find out our teams, those that we will be doing ministry with monthly.

We will be broken down by the calling that He has for us.

We are going to learn more of what The World Race is like from Alumni.

We are going to be told again and again to throw out our expectations.

Our cup will be overflowing.

Sure, all of these God things are going to be happening, so you can bet your bottom dollar that satan will be attacking us throughout the week.

How about we pray against his attacks now!?!

We want the Lord to show up!!

Here’s the most important part for you to read…

Prayer requests for my squad, my team, and myself…

Pray for satan to be BANISHED from training camp.

Pray for God to flow mightily through us.

Pray for God to break us down and raise us up to who He wants us to be.

Pray for His Kingdom to come.

Pray for God to provide for all of my squadmates financially.

Pray for God to show me who I am in Him.

Pray for safe travels for everyone.

Pray for God to cultivate mighty things in each of us.

Pray for God to bring UNITY to our squad and each of the teams.

Pray for patience, love, gentleness, kindness, (I suppose all of the fruits of the spirit) to be evident amongst our squad. (((We want a FRUIT SALAD Yummy Yummy!!)))

Training camp is from May 19-26th so be in prayer my mighty prayer warriors!!

Thank you so much for all of the prayers you have been praying thus far!

Every single one of you have blessed me!

Below is a video from a previous Training Camp with Y squad. Enjoy!

Disclaimer:: The end has a part of squad wars! Something my squad has been a part of for a couple months now! Hence, the craziness!
