In High School my best friend Kirstie and I would text each other every 11:11 saying “wish.” Once I came to college, I became a Christian and realized that I was “wishing” to nobody when there is a God that will hear all of my requests. Now during every 11:11 Kirstie and I text each other saying “pray.”
How often do you look at the clock at 11:11 and wish?
Have you never heard of anyone wishing at every 11:11?
Well, whether you have heard of this or not I’d like to encourage each of you reading this to do a little more than “wish.”
In July, I’m leaving to go on this mission of sharing Jesus throughout 11 different nations in 11 months. The World Race has a slogan shortened version of The World Race that is “11n11.” Which really reminded me of 11:11 and how I went from wishing to praying.
One day I was thinking that instead of just praying for whatever is on my heart at 11:11, I should pray for the 11 countries that I will be going to in 11 months.
Would you join me in prayer for The World Race every 11:11?
Current prayer requests:
- For the current ministry taking place in all 11 countries
- For the Holy Spirit to lead people to financially contribute to this ministry.
- For my mind, heart, and body to be focused on Jesus.
Sidenote: You don’t HAVE to wait by the clock for every 11:11, it’s just when you notice that it is 11:11. Also, that does not mean you can not pray for me any other time of the day. 🙂 I’d encourage you to be in prayer for this ministry. It is going to take a lot of prayer to serve Jesus in this capacity.
