On Thursday, 60+ Racers launching in October waited. It had finally come; the day we would find out who the Lord directed AIM to team up for the launch of the journey of our lives. And we were anxious. Trusting that the Lord had led and directed the AIM staff through staff prayers, observations of team building exercises and interactions among Racers to team up those that He chose to journey together intimately, but allowing the questions to reel. Who would it be? Who would I live with? Who would I minister with? What would we look like as a team, as a family? Names were called. First the Team Leaders and then…the teams….
I am pumped up to introduce you to my team (and new family) for the Race! Are you ready?!
Team Sozo is:
Our fearless leader. The encourager, comforter and lone male on Team Sozo.
The young one. Full of life, spirit and unashamedly chasing after her Father.
The empathetic one. Discerning, bold and solidly rooted in her Father’s love.
The artist (and Sharpie addict). Observant, confident and resting in her Father’s heart.
And me.
Together we are Team Sozo. We know it’s a name that we cannot live up to without the grace, mercy and leading of Father. We know that we are but weak, selfish, stubborn human beings. But we also know that we are no longer satisfied with being so, that we have a Redeemer Who has “whispered” to us, hinting at something more that what is, calling us to pursue it and Who has us in the palm of His hand. He believes in us. And we are a team that wants nothing more than to be molded & used by Him as we follow, love, learn from and rejoice with Him.
Devil standin’ in the way?! No problem. We’ll just “punch him in the face!!”

We’re a rather musically inclined team. And epic t-shirt artists.

We’re also a rather quirky team. (yes, that would be us with the balloon hats. ;p)
We are SO excited about what Father has in store and being together to witness it! Will you follow us? Will you pray for us?! We cannot do this without the support of our friends, family and loved ones here at home. So, please…join us. Everybody now! (in the style of Stevie Wonder):
“Oooh, Jesus! Here I am! Saved, healed, delivered; I’m Yours!”
