…it’s an Oasis in the desert of Israel, west of the Dead Sea, where, according to 1 Samuel, David sought refuge from Saul and refrained from killing Saul when he had the chance.

It’s also the name of my new team.

As the time in Central America drew to a close, everyone on S-Squad was getting restless.  We knew it was coming.  Change.  The three marvelous people (“The Texas Trio“) who launched with us as our Squad Leaders were raising up new ones to take their place at the end of Month 4 (Philippines).  Their duties were coming to an end as our on-field Squad Leaders and they were passing the torch to new, bold and anointed people to step into their place.  The Philippines would prove to be a month of transition, growth and change as the Trio began to release the complete leadership of our squad to  Shannon Ahola and Scotty Barron.  Both of these S-Squad members bravely, yet humbly, answered the call to Leadership.

Because of their step into leading the Squad, two spots for leading Teams were left open.  Into those positions, stepped two mighty warriors of God:  Cody McCullah & Lindsay Dobner.  Cody was my original team leader back on Team Sozo.

These changes necessarily forced the structures of the teams to change as well.  As a result, Team B.R.A.D.Y., as it originally existed, dissolved.  Four of those team members stayed together and were joined by two members, Paul Bell & Sarah Anderson, from another team.  As the team changes were announced, I
expected to feel the fear of uncertainty or disappointment.  Instead, I felt peace & excitement.  B.R.A.D.Y., I knew, was the exact group of people I needed to journey with for the first three months.  But, no longer.  And, as En Gedi has one month under our belt as a team, I am further convinced that this particular mix of six people will launch each of us individually AND as a team into the new places that the Lord wants to take us.

So, without further delay, may I introduce to you my new family:

Team En Gedi

Our hope is that we can bring life to those in search of it by connecting them with the Oasis of Living Water Jesus describes in John 4:13-14…

Jesus answered, “Everyone who drinks this water will be thirsty again, but whoever drinks the water I give them will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give them will become in them a spring of water welling up to eternal life.”
