So despite my lack of organization and inexperience with all of this support-raising and such, God has given me many ways to get the word out about what He has planned for me in The World Race. About a month ago I was featured on a local radio show for a Christian Radio station, WGRC. The show is called “Get Real with Dave and Jana” and they talk about different topics relating to youth and faith. Check out the link and listen to the podcast. I was able to speak about what The World Race is about and how people can help out our ministry. It was a great experience.
In other news, I was also in a local newspaper. I met with a man named Kevin from The Standard Journal on a Monday, we spoke about The World Race for about an hour, and I saw a huge (about half-page) spread about The Race and me the very next day. 
I was able to speak to the whole congregation this past Sunday and it’s wonderful to see the Body of Christ get my back and support His Kingdom through my ministry. The Missions Committee at the church has also been discussing ways they can aid in this ministry. So needless to say, God is doing much more than I can imagine, and most certainly picking up all of my slack. Thank The Father for being faithful even when we don’t do our “fair share” of the work.
