Tucked in a valley between three volcano’s rests a city full of people, small in stature and big in heart. A place where the natural crashes into the supernatural in a way one can’t describe.
A city where you’ll find the vibrant colors of Central America encountering the deep and sometimes dark secrets of an ancient Mayan civilization.
And if you look close enough down its cobblestone streets, you will see a battle raging. And in the midst of that battle you will see a light. Not a physical light but a supernatural manifestation of light that is casting out the darkness little by little.
The light originates at a humble casa that can be found at the end of Burrito Avenue on the outskirts of the city.
Within that house you will find 11 sons and daughters who care about one thing.
Ministering to their King.
For in Antigua, they don’t go out and complete ministry first and then ask God to bless that ministry. They minister to God first and in doing so they find out what He is doing in and around them.
It’s about moving to where God is already working, not working to move God to where we are.
For they don’t focus on doing as much as being; being sons and daughters of the Father of heaven and earth.
For the Lord wants to show each of us the secrets of his depths; He wants to give us a tour of His glory. For His affections are beyond comprehension. His thoughts so pure and His love so true, that nothing can hide in His presence.
And as we minister to Him first, we shall abide in His shadow, the shadow of The Most High and nothing that comes before us shall defeat us.
