Did you know? Every three and a half seconds, another human dies of hunger in a country that may have not crossed your mind in days.
Every minute three children around the world are left without a father or mother due to a crime that had nothing to do with them.
And every hour another man or woman decides their life isn’t worth anything and that no one cares enough about them to even realize that they’re missing.
What these people don’t know is that someone is thinking about them.
In fact, we have been thinking about people like them since the first day each of us left our own homes and traveled abroad to offer our love and serve.
For Kimberly it was in the Dominican Republic, and for Brady, it was Nicaragua.
At that point in our lives we both realized that the comfort we’ve always had was something that most people will never get to see.
A year ago, we had a conversation about such things and came to an agreement. With much prayer and counsel, we decided that we were going to dedicate as much time of our blessed lives as possible to live out Isaiah 1:17, “To defend the cause of orphans and fight for the rights of widows.”
As a result of this decision, we started to prepare spiritually, emotionally and physically for a task much bigger than ourselves.
With an organization called Adventures in Missions, we are going to serve as missionaries in their World Race program beginning in January of 2013. The World Race is an 11-month Christian missions trip to 11 different countries throughout the globe. During our time of ministry and community with orphans and broken men and woman, we will be traveling to China, the Philippines, El Salvador, Honduras, Guatemala, Albania, Romania, India, Tanzania, Uganda and Kenya to serve and share the gospel with those who live with so little.
We are so grateful and excited for the opportunity God has given us and are ready to follow his lead, no matter where it takes us!
Along with being willing, we have to be prepared and we have every confidence in the truth that God will provide for our needs along the way. Our prayer is that He will do that, in part, through you. We must raise $31,000 in order to go where we have been called to go, and become missionaries to the nations.
Along with financial support we just as much need your prayers and encouragement as we embark on the 11 month journey God has called us to. This cost covers all of our expenses on the mission field. This financial support can be given to us as one time gifts or as monthly donations in the form of cash, checks or through the organizations website. If 50 people were to pledge to give $50.00 a month for 12 months, we would have 100 percent of the funds necessary for our trip.
