Its been a busy month here in Eastern Europe.  I (Brady) have been on a farm doing “manistry” month with the other 7 men on my squad.  Marin has been in the capital city of Tirana with a team of women.

Some of the months activities have included, shoveling poop (lots of poop!).  Weighting pigs, building fences, shoveling more poop, reworking pig pens, herding sheep, and shoveling poop.  The farm we are working at is a camp for Albania children during the summer, but it operates year round so that it is a completely self sustaining ministry that never needs to take donations.  Albania came out of communism in the 90s and the concept of non-profits, or organizations that simply run with the goal to help people not common here.  One of the greatest blessings for our team this month has been the opportunity to learn form our contact, an Englishman name George, as he has over 40 years of missions experience.

Some things we could use prayer for:

1. parent vision trip is coming up in 14 days in Honduras (where we will get to see my Mom!)  pray that it would be a blessed week for every racer and parent.

2. Wisdom as Marin and I start to think more about post race plans.

One other quick note:

– We found out that we will be flying through the USA to get to Central America at the beginning of May and will have a layover in New York for 1 night so that should be a good time 🙂
