Welcome to Cambodia. Where people drive on the right side of the road and use American dollars as their main currency. Where there are geckos on every outside wall and ants in our kitchen. It’s almost like I’m back in Florida. Except that the gym only costs 12.5 cents and the only English my neighbors know is “hello!”
This country has had a really rough history. They were in war from 1969-1999. The war was brutal and when the communist party called the Khmer Rouge took over, they killed 30% of the population. Currently, 75% of the population is under the age of 30. To see a video that Clinton (from the January World Race) made about Cambodia’s history, click here: The Killing Fields

This month we’re living at an orphanage called Love in Action. It was founded by an Australian woman called “Mummy Ruth” and houses approximately 75 kids between the two houses. We live in an apartment above the boys house. The girls and small children live in a newly purchased house, a 30 minute walk away.
Our ministry this month is simple. Spend time with the kids. Play, read, sing, run, throw a ball, or teach English. Basically, hang out with kids for a couple weeks. This is definitely not a hard task because these kids are well behaved, fun, loving, and speak at least a little English.
I’m sorry blogs have been sparse the last couple weeks. Life has kinda gotten in the way. I’ll try to be better about it and put something brutally honest together for you soon.
Thanks for your continued support and prayers!
