Long Fawn is 3 1/2 years old. Her mother was addicted to drugs and her father was running from the police so she ended up in the care of the women running the slum ministry.
She is full of beauty and life.

She loves noodles.

When she smiles for the camera she scrunches up her face and looks more like she’s growling than smiling.

She loves to be picked up and held.

She loves to be tossed around.

She loves to fly.

She may just like any other 3 1/2 year old but Long Fawn tugged on my heart strings. I wish with all my heart that I could adopt her and I don’t say that lightly. There was something different about this little girl. I loved her. And I think she loved me too. It was so hard to say goodbye (I considered putting her in my pack but unfortunately there’s not enough room). I pray that God will protect her. I pray that no matter who raises her, she will know God and grow up to be a godly woman. Maybe someday God will bring a Thai girl like Long Fawn to be a part of my family. I truly hope so.
