…with Thailand!
Hello from beautiful Koh Samet island in Thailand! We arrived in Bangkok midday Tuesday, met up with the January racers and traveled by bus and boat to the island. We’re here for debrief until Sunday (Sept 2) when we head back into Bangkok. We’ll spend 5 more days in Bangkok, receiving training for our ministry locations here in Thailand and then head off to our different sites for the month.
So you don’t get confused- I haven’t been able to reach the internet to post blogs the last several weeks so I have quite a few stored up for you. I’ll try not to post them all at once so you don’t get bombarded with all this good reading material 🙂 They cover my last bit of time in Africa including our trip to Victoria Falls and my reflections on the last 3 months of this trip. The plan is to get all my pictures and blogs posted before things get rolling here in Thailand. Thank you to everyone who has been missing my blogs! Internet is much faster and cheaper here in Thailand so hopefully I won’t get behind like I did in Africa.
Exciting news for all those who still love sending snail mail, we can receive packages while we’re here this month! Here are your instructions: DO NOT send any valuables through the mail and clearly state a $0 value for the package. Note that it is a gift with no commercial value. This helps avoid taxes through customs. Packages must arrive no later than October 1st – allow extra time than what the postal service tells you.
