Okay, now I can write the upbeat praise report blog I intended to write the other night when I wrote Broken instead.
God is amazing. Absolutely stellar. Totally and utterly awesome. I already knew this, but when He takes care of me and provides for me, I just feel like shouting it from the rooftops! This blog is my new rooftop.
I currently have $7,386 dollars raised and another $3,850 in pledges (if you’re wondering why it’s not $7,385 dollars, read She gave all she had). That puts me at a total of $11,236 dollars and means I only have to raise another $1,764 dollars. Praise God from whom all blessings flow!
I want to share with you two fundraising blessing stories. The first is through a lady whose daughters I grew up with in our church youth group. Gail sells Mary Kay and has created an amazing fundraising opportunity for me. The second story blows my mind. I can’t comprehend the generosity of this man. It has to be a God-thing. I was contacted by a gentleman that attends my church but I had never met before. A few days ago his mother passed away and they are having a memorial service for her on June 9th. He’s asking that in lieu of flowers, donations be sent to my trip. I have never met this man before, let alone his mother, and he wants money donated to me in memory of her! I feel so honored! He believes in me and our trip that much. Thank you God for your provision through this generous man!
I have many more stories of how God is richly blessing me but I just wanted to share a few with you tonight. Thank you so much to all of you who have supported me financially, spiritually, and emotionally these last few months. I’m so blessed by you. I’ll be praying for you all so please let me know if you have a specific prayer request. I love you all so much!
