Shortly after completing the editing and publishing of the Chinese Bible Distribution video (Word to China) Courtney’s computer died. And I don’t mean “died” as in ran out of battery because it wasn’t plugged in. I mean that it died as in won’t hold a charge, won’t turn on at all. That kind of dead.

After praying over it for several days and it still not working, she took it to a repair shop in town. No, it’s not the cord. No, it’s not the battery. It’s the guts of the computer and it’s a serious problem.

We’ll be heading back to Bangkok on Saturday so she’s going to try to take it to a computer shop there. It’s still under warranty (did I mention she bought it brand new in May, just before leaving for the World Race) so hopefully it will get fixed but she may have to leave it there while we’re in Cambodia for the entire next month.

Our whole team uses her computer to write blogs and emails, edit pictures, and create videos, all of which we consider a huge part of our ministry. Without it, next month will be challenging.

All this to say, please pray for her computer. It may sound silly to pray for a computer but it’s a ministry tool; therefore, I think it’s worthy of prayer. And I whole-heartedly believe in the power of our prayers.
