I´m so sorry I haven´t written a real blog or posted any pictures yet this month. Life constantly on the move is crazy and we´re about to be off again.

Ministry Update:

We spent about a week out on the island Ometepe. We played at a service on Good Friday and I preached! It was my first time and I was really nervous but everyone said it went well. We spent Easter weekend relaxing and praising God. On Saturday we rode bareback on horses along the beach with our new friends. On Sunday we packed up lunch and had a picnic on the beach. Then we went kayaking for an hour and swam a bit. After dinner that night we made a bonfire on the beach and had worship and prayer time under a billion stars. It was so beautiful.

We´ve been in Rivas the last few days. Please be in prayer for Mike and Joan Vilaces and their ministry here. The government has interceded because of paperwork reasons and they have lost the children at their center. Please pray for wisdom, strength and peace to fall on them. Also for the Lord to reveal His will to them in this difficult time. We know nothing happens without him allowing it and that all things work to the good of those who love and serve him so we´re confident the Lord is going to use this situation to His glory.

Future Plans:

In 10 minutes are hopping on a bus to Liberia, Costa Rica. We´ll spend the weekend practicing and doing ATL in the city and return to Granada Sunday or Monday.

On Tuesday we´re scheduled to play at House of Hope, a prostitution recovery ministry in Managua. Every Tuesday they meet to worship, and hear a teaching before spending a couple hours making cards to sell for alternative income.

Then, next Saturday, we´re playing for a youth service in Masaya.

There´s a lot going on in our world and a lot we need prayer for. Safety, protection during travel, strength and renewed energy, etc. Also, one of our squad mates (Lauren Morris) has had a fever for the last week and was diagnosed yesterday with Typhoid Fever. She flew home this morning to better recover. We´re hoping she´ll be able to return for final debrief but aren´t sure at this point. Also, Sarah Dager had severe diarrhea and is in the hospital receiving fluids and antibiotics.

Thanks for your prayers, encouragement and love. We need every ounce of it! Love and miss you all…
