Satan tells us lies everyday. He will do anything to keep us from fully experiencing the love of our Father. Satan recognizes when someone starts to truly follow the Lord and he knows he will lose so he comes in as hard and fast as he can to throw you off. You question if things will stay this way and if God is worth it. Satan tells you that you are not good enough to follow Christ and you are not worthy to be called a follower.
When you sin, satan allows you to think you can never do anything right and that you will continue to let God down. At one point this was right. We were not good enough, we were not worthy, we would always let God down and fail. However, this is why Jesus died for us! We are no longer defined by our sin. Instead God says we are forgiven. We are worthy to be in God’s presence because we are His children.
Do we realize He is our FATHER and He cares so deeply for us? He invites us to have a relationship with Him. He wants us to go to Him in every situation of our life. Being intimate with the Father is amazing and such a blessing! He can give us peace that no human on this earth can. It is time we stop playing church and take God out of this little box we have Him in. All through Matthew and the Bible we see miracles and healings Jesus performed. Who are we to say those things still cannot happen? It is time that in our insecurities we realize how great our security is. Insecurities are from the devil while Jesus is our security.
Invite God into your life and seek His love. His truth and affection is worth much more than any misconception the devil tries to throw at you. I challenge you to deeply pray to the Abba, Father. Do not just pray because it is “what we are supose to do.” Pray to seek the face of God and hear His voice. He loves you and is patiently waiting to embrace His children and show you love like you have never experienced.
