Oh… I’m so glad you asked.

“Manistry” is where one out of the eleven months during the race all the men on our squad come together and serve alongside each other. It’s a unique time where we are able to pour into one another and help sharpen what the Lord is already doing in each one of our lives.

Of course there is a little horseplay and joking around that comes along with it.

This month we‘re partnering with a local church in Lima, Peru. We’re staying with the Pastor and his wife. They are a amazing couple who have a huge heart for the Lord, and this week we were able to partner with them and help repaint their entire church!

Here are some pictures from our first week of “Manistry“

Step 1 of Manistry: Grow and isolate your stache

Step 2: Get to work!!

Step 3: There’s no breaks… Only wrestling matches to occupy free time

Step 4: Nothing screams “bonding” more than a hard days work

Step 5: What’s “Manistry“ without a hospital visit…

*Note… Besides eighteen stitches and some extreme sorness, everyone is thankfully okay.

*Side note: We haven’t had a accident since… check out Daniel’s sign

Step 7: With some slight setbacks, we were still able to complete the job by Sunday’s Church service. Praise!!

*Prayer Request- Next week we’re hiking into a remote village, to partner with a long term missionary who is also a linguistic translator. As we help her build the first ever church in this remote community, our prayer request is continued health and energy, so we‘re able to give 100% each day we’re out there.

We love and miss everyone back home!

PS- I love you Cristin and hope you’re having your best month yet!!
